Over the years I have worked with many people around the Northern Rivers, generally operating through word of mouth, doing favours for friends and family. I ended up discovering that I actually really enjoy helping people make their business come alive by creating an online presence for them.
After running a business of my own for about 8 years and learning how to use Content Management Systems (CMS), gaining an understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO – How to be found online) and understanding how to use images online effectively, I managed to complete work a lot faster than most people had expected.
Below are some comments from some of the people I have recently worked with.
Felicity was recommended as a website builder from a mutual professional connection in January 2016 for the launch of my start-up business, The Cubby House Byron Bay, which was a creative workshops studio located in Byron’s Arts and Industrial Estate.
I needed to have a slick and functional website that could integrate a lot of special functions and unique HTML coding from third-party websites.
Following my own research, I felt WordPress would be the best kind of site for my business as online reviews said it was the most customisable platform and worked well with SEO. I am moderately tech-savvy but didn’t know much more when it came to building a website properly.
Felicity was helpful setting me up with aesthetics and functionality of my site which made it easy for customers to book workshops. Over the next few months my SEO ranked well against competitors.
As many starts-up do, my business evolved, and so I decided to rebrand to Workshops of Byron Bay. I called on Felicity again to build a new website which is currently in progress – I just need to get my copy together and it is ready for launch!
My top tip from Flick: get your copy and images sorted – it takes the most time. The rest is a breeze.
“Flick has been working with us on the new Byron Community Colleges website for the past few months, she is super fast and has come up with good ideas.
She is also proficient in photoshop and has been helping out with social media posts and creating posters to go up around the campus.
Flick’s friendly ‘can do’ attitude always makes her a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone needing web or other social media support.”

“Scary business this digital world, especially if you are not born into it, but wow…..It’s amazing how simple it can be to have your own website and social media strategy.
We found the answer!
Felicity of MissFlixIT made it a very simple and inexpensive process to have the presence we required along with ongoing support and assistance.
So if you know what you want or even if you have no clue, I would recommend MissFlixIT to answer all your needs.”
“All the tech, my website/email/newsletter/social media/my phone apps was unmanageable. It worked sort of, but wasn’t close to flowing or sustainable at the speed it was evolving.
My own knowledge of marketing & advertising & launching projects had reached its limits and so I needed some clear simple direction with rapid practical results. Felicity managed an immediate diagnosis, a strategy of “until completion” and full reset on everything. This was exactly what I needed, top job.
I highly recommend Felicity for her skills and professional ease at which she manages her tech wizardry.”
